Ciara Reed is a transactional entertainment attorney and the founder of CDRK Law. For more than a decade she has negotiated deals across music, film and television, podcasts, digital media, sports, and brands. On the talent side she represents recording artists, songwriters, producers, actors, writers, directors, hosts, athletes, and content creators. On the other side of those same deals she represents labels, publishers, studios, networks, and production companies. She is regularly listed on Billboard’s Top Music Lawyers. She is a member of the Recording Academy and a Grammy voter, and her clients include Grammy nominated producers, songwriters, and artists. She founded CDRK on a simple idea, that white-glove service should not be reserved for a firm’s biggest clients. Because she has spent her career on both sides of the table, she knows what the other side is going to ask for before they ask, where the leverage actually sits, and which terms will still matter five years after signing. She is admitted to practice in California and Texas.
